The Ganschhorn was created in 2012 out of Thomas Gansch's desire to combine the sonic advantages of a rotary valve trumpet with the simpler handling of a piston trumpet.

It was important to Thomas that the trumpet could be perfectly handled with one hand, giving him the greatest possible freedom in his daily use on stages around the world.

The curved bell shape makes it even easier to direct the sound directly to the audience through the music stand.

To celebrate our company's 60th anniversary, in 2021, our two Ganschhorn models (a standard weight and a heavy-weight) underwent a major update.

For example, small detailed improvements were made to the leadpipes, and they are now soldered on all horns.

This made it possible to achieve even more stable intonation and a more precise/direct response in all positions.

Our instruments are manufactured with extreme accuracy and precision according to the latest knowledge of traditional craftsmanship using the most modern tools. Each instrument undergoes strict quality control before leaving our master workshop.

With this concept, the Schagerl company remains true to its motto: In quality we trust!
