Acting on the expressed wishes of numerous musicians, Steven Lewis and Dietmar Dürk decided to integrate the legendary C. F. Schmidt design into their collection of horns.

It is distinguished by its bell shape and the unique valve cluster consisting of three rotary valves plus an F / Bb Perinet butterfly valve.

The intense effort and close collaboration of these two masters in their field gave birth to the new LDx7, which, after some modifications in cooperation with Dale Clevenger, principal horn of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, became the model LD CLEVENGER.

From the outset, the results have exceeded all expectations.

The legendary timbre is combined with improved intonation, excellent response, and uniformity across all registers.

A specially designed trigger is available for enhanced ergonomic comfort.

Special feature: The LD CLEVENGER model can be converted from Bb / F to F / Bb by simply removing the entire piston valve, rotating it 180°, and reinserting it.

Valves: Solid yellow brass tapered valves with tapered spindles.

Braces: Made from the finest solid nickel-silver rods available.
