Yamaha P-225

WITH AN IMPRESSIVE ARRAY OF ADVANCED FEATURES

The Yamaha P-225 stands out in the P Series for offering an authentic piano experience in a remarkably compact and lightweight instrument. Its advanced GHC keyboard ensures a precise and consistent tactile feel, ideal for playing fast and dynamic passages with total fidelity. This model continues the legacy of the acclaimed GHS keyboards, elevating playability to new heights.

THE SOUND OF A GRAND PIANO

The P-225 incorporates the sound of Yamaha's flagship, the CFX grand piano, with brilliant highs and powerful lows. The P-225 incorporates Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) Lite digital technology, which realistically reproduces the complex resonances produced by grand piano strings, dynamically changing according to how you play the keys. Enjoy brilliant highs and powerful lows, taking you to an unprecedented sonic dimension.

TAKE IT WITH YOU WHEREVER YOU GO. PORTABILITY IN EVERY NOTE

One problem that affects pianists is that the acoustic piano is not an instrument you can easily transport. The P-225 and P-145 brilliantly solve this inconvenience. With their elegant design – the most compact in the P Series – these models perfectly integrate with any room's decor. With the optional carrying bag, you can take your P-225 or P-145 to the studio, to a party, to the stage for live performances, or on a trip: wherever you need it.

ACCESS ALL INSTRUMENT FUNCTIONS MORE EASILY WITH THE APP

By connecting the P-225 or P-145 to the Yamaha "Smart Pianist" app, you can intuitively control the piano with your tablet or mobile phone screen. The P-225 includes Bluetooth® audio functionality, allowing you to pair your piano with your phone or tablet and listen to your favorite songs through the piano's speakers. You can play along with those songs as if you were part of the original band.

ENJOY LISTENING TO SONGS, RECORD YOUR PERFORMANCE AND SHARE IT WITH THE WORLD.

If you want to objectively analyze your performance or practice only the right hand while listening to the left hand, the P-225's recording function is all you need. On both models, you can record yourself using the Smart Pianist app. If you want to make a video of your performance and share it on platforms like YouTube or TikTok, use the Rec'n'Share app. Connect the P-225 or P-145 to your tablet or mobile and record audio and video simultaneously to create your perfect video.

COMPLEMENT YOUR PORTABLE PIANO WITH THE OPTIONAL STAND.

The optional L-200 stand, sold separately, and the three-pedal unit are the ideal complements for this P-225 model. Enhance the aesthetics and functionality of your digital piano with these two premium accessories. In addition, the FC35 pedal unit offers you 3 pedals (sustain, sostenuto, and una corda), for an authentic piano performance. The FC35 allows you to play with half-pedal, so you can add subtle changes to the sound's resonance and enjoy an even greater expressive range.

A BALANCED AND CRYSTAL-CLEAR SOUND WITH THE VOLUME AMPLIFIER

The position and angle of the P-225 and P-145 speakers have been carefully adjusted to replicate the sound emitted by the soundboard and reflected by the lid of a grand piano. These adjustments offer you a crystal-clear and defined mid-high range, and powerful lows, with a balanced sound, even if you place the piano against a wall. The P-225 incorporates a 2-way speaker system, delivering immersive sound. Thanks to the Volume Amplifier function, you can achieve an even more powerful and robust sound.
