DESCRIPTION

A professional standard in compact format

The Yamaha Custom YFG‑812C‑03 combines the power and resonance of a professional bassoon with a compact, easy-to-transport design. With a reinforced 4mm body, it produces a warm, deep tone, perfect for integrating into symphony bands or solo projects.

Its compact version includes a shorter second body and an FGC‑802C case.

Heckel key system with advanced ergonomics

Each key is hand-assembled by experts to ensure a uniform response. The system includes rollers on key keys such as C#, Eb, F#, and Ab, protection for B♭, a balancer, and optimized left thumb and pinky finger positions for comfortable and fluid performance.

Sound quality and robust body

The thick 4mm wall in the body provides a darker, more opulent sound, better suited for modern repertoires; additionally, resonance and projection increase significantly compared to the 811 model.

Updated and sophisticated design

The third generation of the model and the aesthetic redesign include new engraving on the bell and double joint, as well as the new logo with tuner on the bell.

Perfect for ambitious performers

With its Heckel system, compact case, superior ergonomics, and professional sound, the YFG‑812C‑03 is ideal for advanced musicians, conservatories, and orchestral projects. Its compact design and reinforced body offer a perfect balance between portability, comfort, and sound quality.
