The Vandoren VK 3 1/2 Soft reed is a synthetic reed made from a composite material specially developed by Vandoren and is the result of 7 years of research.

It is a 100% recyclable reed. The VK reed, and the material it is made from, are produced in France in Bormes-Les-Mimosas.

This composite material does not imitate the structure of cane. It reproduces the essential physical characteristics of cane to achieve the same acoustic behavior.

The VK reed is completely new, both in the material it is made from and the method of obtaining the material, and is covered by an international patent.

Available for Bb clarinet in strengths 2 1/2 hard, 3 soft, 3 medium, 3 hard, 3 1/2 soft and 3 1/2 medium.
