The Catalina Club series quickly became a bestseller after its introduction to the market in the early 2000s. Gretsch decided not to follow the usual paths when starting the series – the shells were produced outside the USA for the first time and mahogany shells were used – but still, they stayed true to their traditions, while introducing a set of new kits at an attractive price.

The series combines traditional configurations with their classic sound and elegant, fashionable hardware. The 7-ply mahogany shells provide warm, punchy vintage sounds, and the 14" bass drums offer classic Gretsch depth.

The 30° bearing edge and quality hardware add to the unmistakable "Gretsch Flair" – The Catalina Club series is a tribute to the brand's tradition – but at the same time, these are modern and functional drums.
