Rubber inner head, deep, dark, lighter sound. More direct attack due to higher tension in its yarn. The L means it has a lighter weight because it has a smaller head than the N series.

In this case, the wooden handle is made of maple treated with a chemical substance that makes it more flexible (this is what gives it its brown color). This offers exceptional comfort and feel when striking, and reduces the stiffness of a normal wooden handle.
