F/Bb Dürk Model LDx5/Rhenish Horn (Unlacquered)

The LDx5 was born thanks to the collaboration of two experts in their fields: master craftsman Steven W. Lewis and Dietmar Dürk.

Masterful workmanship, in combination with the finest materials and years of experience, has led to fantastic results.

The horn has a traditional design, but the concept behind its construction is innovative.

Production tools and techniques were developed in-house and specifically for this project, supporting traditional craftsmanship and ensuring the quality, consistent standard, and series identity of each individual horn.

Careful and thoughtful handling of materials during construction ensures minimal material stress, resulting in a horn that speaks freely, responds quickly, and resonates with a clear, open sound from the very first note.
