DESCRIPTION

An anniversary should always be celebrated, and in the musical instrument manufacturing industry, doing so with the launch of a special instrument is the most appropriate alternative. For this reason, in 2018 Vincent Bach and Conn-Selmer teamed up to launch the Bach 42BOF Centennial lacquered Bb/F tenor trombone, a unique piece to commemorate the centenary of the birth of Vicent Bach's trombone line in 1928.

Technical Specifications of the Bach 42BOF Centennial Lacquered Bb/F Tenor Trombone

The Bach 42BOF Centennial lacquered Bb/F tenor trombone is unique, launched to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the instrument brand created by Vincent Bach. With a yellow brass bell, this trombone model offers a high tonal response, as well as the possibility of changing the sound color.

This instrument also features a European-style ‘Open Wrap’ free-flow valve. This piece helps provide greater projection and clarity thanks to the slight vibration produced in the bell.

Other notable parts of this trombone are its Meinlschmidt Open-Flow fourth valve, its traditional 42 leadpipe, its original Bach 6-1/2A mouthpiece, included with the instrument, and its nickel silver and brass inner and outer slides, respectively.

A Deluxe Case for the Bach 42BOF Centennial Lacquered Bb/F Tenor Trombone

When we talk about the Bach 42BOF Centennial trombone, we are talking about a unique and singular instrument. Created to celebrate the long history of this instrument brand, this trombone is sold with its own deluxe, high-quality wooden case.

It is also a special edition and includes a badge reflecting this, commemorating the centenary of the brass instrument line created by the Austrian musician.

About Vincent Bach and Bach Stradivarius

With the end of World War I, Vincent Bach took the first steps towards creating his first instruments. The starting point was his famous trumpets, followed by mouthpieces and his line of trombones, launched to the public in 1928.

His high-quality pieces quickly found a place among musicians worldwide, who chose this range of instruments without hesitation. Their success continues to this day, and even though the musician sold his company in 1961, its values and philosophy have been maintained for the creation of all Bach Stradivarius instruments.
