DESCRIPTION
V12 reeds for Bb clarinet are cut from cane tubes of a diameter equivalent to that used for alto saxophone reeds.

This is why V12 reeds are thicker at both ends than traditional reeds.

This allows them to vibrate on a longer palette and produce a rich, deep sound.

The thicker tip gives body to the attack and increases longevity.

The addition of the 3 1/2+ strength allows for closer graduation.

This results in greater homogeneity of reeds within the same strength.

Furthermore, the V12 range now includes reeds for Eb clarinet and bass clarinet.

They offer sound roundness, tonal richness, and sonic power.
