Rubber inner core, dark, round sound, with a more direct attack due to the higher tension in its yarn. The N means it has a normal weight, made with a larger diameter head than the L light series.

The wooden handle in this case is made of maple treated with a chemical that makes it more flexible (this is what gives it its brown color). This offers exceptional comfort and feel when striking, and makes the stiffness of a normal wooden handle less noticeable.
