Interior head of rubbery thermoplastic, hard sound, very clear, not aggressive at all with exceptional respect for the instrument's plates. More direct attack due to higher tension in its yarn. The N means it has a normal weight, made with a larger diameter head than the lighter L series.

The wooden handle in this case is made of maple treated with a chemical substance that makes it more flexible (this is what gives it the brown color). This offers exceptional comfort and feel when striking, and makes the rigidity of a normal wooden handle less noticeable.
