Gummy thermoplastic core, harder, very clear sound, not aggressive at all, with exceptional respect for the instrument's bars. More direct attack due to greater tension in its yarn. The L means it has a lighter weight because it has a smaller head than the N series.

The wooden handle in this case is made of maple treated with a chemical substance that makes it more flexible (this is what gives it the brown color). This offers exceptional comfort and feel when striking, and reduces the rigidity felt with a normal wooden handle.
