In total, a dozen of these horns were made and became known as the \"Heldenhorn\".\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAs international interest in Geyer-style horns has steadily increased in recent years, the idea of the \"Heldenhorn\" is revived again in 2016.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eA few prototypes of this new model are manufactured for an exhibition trip to Australia where they met with an enthusiastic response.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThrough intensive exchange of ideas and tests with national and international professional horn players, a production model of this horn was soon developed and in 2017 it was offered to horn players with the model number 1106.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe basis for our new \"Heldenhorn\" is the model 1103 K.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe body and the taper of the lead pipe and bell are identical for both horns.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe main difference between these models is the design of the F-pump.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe sharp bends in the F-branch of the 1103 have been opened up in the \"Heldenhorn\" to a sweeping curve that exits directly from the valve block and runs in an open wrap along the body.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWith this construction, starting with the long lead pipe and continuing with the open wrap design, a very pleasant and light response is achieved.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe model is built standard in yellow brass with a threaded bell and hand-hammered flare.
